Before making any decision on hiring a marquee for a party you may wish to consider the following ten points:

1. Number of guests?
The number of guests you plan to seat will govern the size of the marquee. For example to seat 100 guests comfortably you would require a marquee in the region of 10m x 20m.

2. Marquee Interior?
Do you require an area for a disco, stage for a band, reception or bar area?

3. Size of your Garden?
Is your site level? Are there numerous trees, a pond, rockeries etc. Water features can occasionally be included within a marquee?

4. Caterers?
Are you planning on catering from within your home or having external caterers, catering marquees are available to hire.

5. Toilets?
Will you require extra toilets for your event?

6. Electricity Supply?
Do you have access to electricity close to the planned marquee or would you need to hire a generator?

7. Time of the Year?
Winter months require extra heating within the marquee as well as additional lighting both inside and outside.

8. Site Access?
Is there access for lorries to come onto the proposed site?

9. Hire Period?
When hiring you are given specific dates when the marquee will be erected and taken down. Generally the hire cost is for one weekend.

10. No Venue?
We can occasionally assist in the locating of a suitable venue. Have you considered local schools, pubs, hotels, sporting facilities? All of these usually have a suitable area which they would be willing to hire out.
